We are offering Shotcrete Guniting Work Services to our clients. Gunite is a highly effective method for repairing damaged concrete work caused by subpar craftsmanship or other factors. It is also utilized to create a impermeable layer.
Gunite consists of a mixture of cement and sand, typically in a ratio of 1:3. This mixture is applied to the concrete surface using a cement gun, which exerts a pressure of approximately 20 to 30 N/Cm².
On the other hand, shotcrete is a construction technique where concrete or mortar is conveyed through a hose and projected at high velocity onto a surface. It can be reinforced with conventional steel rods, steel mesh, and/or fibers. Fiber reinforcement, whether steel or synthetic, is also employed for stabilization purposes in applications like slopes or tunneling.
The term "shotcrete" generally encompasses both the wet-mix and dry-mix versions. However, in pool construction, "shotcrete" specifically refers to the wet-mix method, while "gunite" is used for the dry-mix method. It is important to note that these terms are not interchangeable in this particular context.
Shotcrete is applied and compacted simultaneously due to the force exerted by the nozzle. It can be sprayed onto surfaces of any type or shape, including vertical or overhead areas.
